Genopbygningen kan begynde i et delt Gaza

Så snart Israel havde gennemført sin delvise tilbagetrækning fra Gaza, som beskrevet i Trump-planen, begyndte landet at dele Gazastriben i to. Den 9. oktober lagde israelske ingeniører knæhøje, gule afspærringssten ud. Uger senere fulgte store, gule betonblokke. En betonmur kan blive det næste. Den nye “gule linje” vil definere et lille palæstinensisk område inde i en større israelskbesat zone. Israel skal efter planen trække sig helt tilbage, når Hamas afvæbnes, og en international stabiliseringsstyrke tager over. Ingen af delene virker nært forestående. Opdelingen af Gaza kan derfor ende med at blive permanent.
