The recession hit Copenhagen Airport, CPH

The financial year 2009 resulted in a profit before tax of DKK 820 million compared to DKK 1,026 million in 2008.
CPH’s revenue amounted to DKK 2,923 million after revenue of DKK 3,114 the previous year.
The EBIT result was DKK 1,047 million after DKK 1,228 million the previous year, while the net profit amounted to DKK 614 million after DKK 755 million in 2008.
The number of passengers decreased by 8.2 per cent to 19.7 million in 2009.

»The decline was affected strongly by a decrease in the number of passengers of 16.2 per cent in the first quarter and 10.3 per cent in the second quarter as a consequence due to Sterling’s bankruptcy and the declining number of SAS departures. In the second half-year the development improved,« CPH wrote in its annual financial statement. Direkt/BNS
