Easy.Jet mocks SAS in new competition

»Guess when SAS has lost 525 million tax kroner and win air travels with easy.Jet«. The idea of the competition is that you must guess after which quarter of 2010 SAS’ loss will exceed the DKK 525 million which the Danish government will inject into the announced rights issue.
If your guess turns out to be right, you participate in the competition for easy.Jet flight tickets.
»We have for a long time tried to tell the Danees that easy.Jet and other airline companies are subject to unfair competition from SAS. During the last 12 months SAS has received billions of Danish, Swedish and Norwegian tax kroner which the company has subsequently lost without the money having been of any benefit to the consumers,« Thomas Haagensen, Regional General Manager for easy.Jet in Scandinavia, wrote in easy.Jet’s press release announcing the competition.
Both the Norwegian and Swedish government have now indicated that they might be ready to reduce their owner’s share in SAS. Direkt/BNS

According to the news agency Ritzau the Danish finance minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen said today that also the Danish government may be ready to sell its share of SAS. BNS
