TDC Posts Satisfactory Results

Efficiency improvements and a growing customer base helped Denmark’ biggest telecom provider come out of the fist half of 2010 with a turnover of DKK 18.2 billion, compared to 17.8 billion in the first six months of last year, an increase of 2.2%.
Sales in the company’s Nordic business grew by 0.6%. The company’s Nordic EBITDA rose by 3.2 percent, while its EBITDA margin improved from 39.2% in Q1/Q2 2009 to 40.2% in the same period this year. The solid results meant the company was able to maintain its expectations for 2010.
TDC’s share price was up 0.93 percent on lunchtime trading
