FIH Announces Upward Adjustment

FIH Erhvervbank Bank has raised its 2010 expectations by DKK 50 million after a good performance in the first six months of the year. The bank now expects to post a pre tax profit of DKK 600 million, or DKK 450 million after tax. It previously expected a pre tax profit of DKK 550 million or DKK 400 million after tax.
Pre tax profits taxation for Q2 2010 amounted to DKK 122.1 million, while profit after tax stood at DKK 102.8 million, The pre tax figure presents an increase of DKK 146.0 million compared to last year, while the post tax figure represents an improvement of DKK 97.0
Write downs for Q2 2010 total DKK 188.5 million, which is in line with expectations, the bank said, and less than half as much as the same period last year.
