The implementation of the new strategy Core SAS has turned out favourably for the troubled airline company SAS. The number of passengers has increased, and the company will deploy extra aircraft on the routes to Asia and USA to meet the demand.

The largest improvement in the number of passengers was on the domestic flights in Denmark and on the international destinations.
In order to meet the increased demand for flights to Asia and USA, SAS will deploy an extra long distance aircraft in the autumn.
Totally, SAS carried 2.4 million passengers in June.
