The Danish allergy treatment group ALK-Abelló’s proposal to acquire the Dutch activities of Fornix’ Allergy Division, Artu, has now been approved, the company wrote in a company announcement.
»ALK has been informed that the shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting of Fornix BioSciences today has approved ALK’s proposal to acquire the Dutch activities of Fornix’ Allergy Division, Artu, for a consideration of EUR 19.6 million corresponding to DKK 146 million,« ALK wrote. ALK made the proposal at the end of April.
The transaction will be effective on July 1, 2010, after which Artu and ALK’s Dutch subsidiary will be fully integrated.
