The strong fall in the house prices last autumn does not bode well for 2012 for the home owners. Last year’s biggest problem in Danish economy seems to continue this year.
New data from Statistics Denmark show that the price of single-family houses dived 2.1 per cent from October to November last year. Thus the price decline for the third quarter was 4.2 per cent and 8.5 per cent for the first eleven months of 2011.
“The housing market is a very big problem in Danish economy,” said senior economist Niels Rønholt, Jyske Bank.
