OECD: Danish economy must prepare for slowdown

26-01-2012 14:44 Even before Danish economy has fought its way out of the 2007 crisis, the politicians should now prepare and implement reforms in order to allow Danish economy to withstand new shocks from the crisis in Europe. “The current international slowdown entails new risks for the Danish economy,” OECD wrote in a country report on Danish economy.

The main challenge for the new government of Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt (S) is to prepare Danish economy for a new economic shock, where Denmark is especially exposed to a massive economic slowdown in Europe.

The good news is, however, that in general Denmark is on the right course, and that the country, with minor measures and adjustments, can make it through another crisis, OECD wrote.
