Topsil doubles operating profit

Topsil Semiconductor Materials A/S ended the second quarter 2010 with a net profit of DKK 13.3 million compared to DKK 3.5 million in the same period last year. Profit before tax rose to DKK 17.3 million from DKK 7.1 million last year.
»The favourable market trends in the demand for both FZ and CZ silicon continued in the second quarter of 2010. Topsil’s order backlog is thus satisfacatory going into the second half-year 2010,« Topsil noted in the interim report.
The operating profit was doubled to DKK 20.9 million, and revenue grew from DKK 92.9 million to DKK 113.1 million. Topstil maintains its expecations for the full year 2010 and thus expects revenue in the range DKK 440-460 million. The EBITDA is expected in the range of DKK 100-110 million. Direkt/BNS
