MT Højgaard will build foundations for wind turbines
14:50 12-03-2010 MT Højgaard has been awarded a major contract valued at approx. EUR 130 million (approx. DKK 965 million) with Lincs Wind Farm Ltd., which is 50 per cent owned by the leading UK energy company Centrica plc and 50 per cent owned by DONG Energy and Siemens Project Ventures, the company wrote in an announcement.
»We are very pleased with this vote of confidence from some of Europe’s leading players in the energy industry. It reinforces our world-leading position in the design and construction of foundations for offshore wind turbines,« said Kristian May, CEO of MT Højgaard.
