Significant sales growth for Dansk Supermarked

15:35 15-03-2010 The retail chain Dansk Supermarked (Danish Supermarket) with totally 1,348 stores by the names Netto, Føtex, Bilka, A-Z and Salling achieved in 2009 a profit after taxes of DKK 2 billion in spite of economic slowdown and hesitant consumers.

This is a record profit for the chain and an improvement of DKK 400 million compared to the previous year when the consumers’ failing willingness to buy really hit the grocery chain
