Prime Minister: This is the end of the economic free-ride
14:13 Denmark is challenged by countries which are moving faster than we are and by a budget deficit which has increased by DKK 154 billion in one year. This means that the economic free-ride is over, prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said today. At the end of this week or in the week after next week he will present the government‘s economic plan for getting Denmark out of the economic crisis.
And the prime minister prepares the Danes for a number of economic cutbacks.
Pilots and cabin crews decide SAS’ future
09:38 The SAS pilots and cabin crews will now come under a major pressure. If they do not accept the cost savings program SAS risks losing out on the vital billion kroner injection by the shareholders, the SAS spokesman Sture Stølen told borsen.dk.
